The Thirroul Bowling Club can be found conveniently located close to Thirroul Railway Station and it’s only a stone’s throw away from the pristine beach of Thirroul. Members and guests can come for the bowling or come for the experience of our fantastic fresh food, live entertainment and friendly staff. 

Boat Shed Bistro hours are: 12 till 2pm for Lunch & 5pm till 8.30pm Dinner service / Sunday till Thursday 5.30pm till 8pm / Friday till Saturday 5.30 till 8.30pm.

Thirroul Butchers Junior Rugby League Club

Thirroul Junior Rugby League Club was formed in 1930, and has a long and proud history of being involved in rugby league within the Illawarra district. We have grown to one of the larger clubs within the Illawarra division with approximately 280 players registered each season.

Butchers - Northern District Cricket Club

Northern Districts Cricket Club (formerly Thirroul Cricket Club) was established in 1896 and has been an integral part of cricket in the Illawarra region for over 111 years. In the past, all home matches were held at Gibson Park Thirroul but after the club underwent a name change from Thirroul Cricket Club to Northern Districts Cricket Club in 1994, the club’s base shifted to our current home of Hollymount Park Woonona.

Thirroul Ski Club

Membership of Thirroul Ski Club is currently open to direct family of current financial members ie spouse, partner or children. For all other people the Club maintains a membership waiting list. Thirroul Ski Club gives priority of membership to people who have stayed at Maranatha Lodge in the winter as an associate member.
